I NEXT ONE MAN
SHOW
Galerie Petric, Unter Fettenhennen (Am Wallrafplatz) Cologne, Germany.
Opening 14th September, 2001..
Last One Man Show
During the entire month of July 2000, 70 mixed technique canvases were
exhibited in the Cultural Center of Capdepera (Mallorca), all recent works
created in the new studio of Moli de S'Anima in Manacor during the year
2000.
Last Group Shows
Amengual's recent work shown at the Torre de Ses Puntes in Manacor in
December 1999 was in collaboration with others to demonstrate the
importance
and power of the technique of drawing as a means of expression. The
organization was by Joan Carles Gomis and the participants were 19
important Spanish and foreign artists such as Miquel Barcelo, Ferran
Garcia Sevilla and Andreu Terrades. The show followed an itinerary in
eastern Mallorca at the Cultural Centers of Felanitx, Capdepera, Arta and
Son Servera, finalizing in San Lorenzo on 14th May 2001.
In the Solleric Palace, in an extremely interesting exhibition under the
title of A Possible Truth and organized by the Town Hall of
Palma de Mallorca, a group of 20 wellknown Spanish painters have put on
show during
the months of July, August and September 2001 a sculpture created by each
of them, thus revealing an aspect of their creativity in many cases quite
unknown by the public.
